The Nessacus Middle School art program allows students to experiment with a variety of media to create visual art.  The elements of art (color, line, shape, form, space, value, texture) are studied in two-dimensional and three-dimensional work.  

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

• 70% of the student's grade is based on Criteria, Craftsmanship, Surface application and solution. 

• 30% of the student's grade is based on behavior that support learning.

It is the student’s responsibility to be prepared for class each day, adhere to the class norms, ask questions, use all tools and materials appropriately and safely, use time wisely, complete all assignments, and to make-up any work missed due to absence.
